SIMULATION WORKSHOP ON PROCESS FUNDAMENTALS on March 19-24, 2018

 

 

Department of Chemical Engineering under the School of Bio and Chemical Engineering in association with SIM INFOSYSTEMS Private Ltd., organized one week certification course on SIMULATION WORKSHOP ON PROCESS FUNDAMENTALS for 2015 – 2019 batch students on March 19th – 24th, 2018.

Sim Infosystems – a leading Company providing Simulation products and services for process and power industry. Simulator based training to process and power industry is a key focus for the Company.

This workshop is designed to provide knowledge on basic principles and training in the operation of major equipment deployed in process industry. It includes classroom instructions, as well as hands-on training with a PC based, full scope Simulator. The classroom instructions cover all major unit operations and their controls. Simulator trained students will have edge over their counterparts in the competitive scenario with respect to their knowledge in Instrumentation & Control and Process operations. The participants will have the basic knowledge on process control and instrumentation, operations of major unit operations in a process plant and they will gain experience in trouble shooting, emergency handling, startup and shutdown operations of the process plants.
